At The Cat's Meow Rescue, our goal is to improve the lives of cats in our community through rescue, rehabilitation, thoughtful adoption, and Trap-Neuter-Return (TNR).

Most of the cats and kittens in our care are personally trapped or rescued directly from our local community. We are able to provide the medical care they need to recover and thrive. From treating illness and injury to providing nutritious food, enrichment, and daily care, we give every cat the opportunity for a healthy start.

We believe that preparing cats for their future homes involves more than medical care. Our kittens and cats are raised in a home environment where they are well-socialized, exposed to everyday sights and sounds, and given positive experiences that help them become confident, adaptable companions.

Finding the right home is just as important as rescuing the right cat. We carefully review every adoption application to ensure each cat is matched with a family that fits their personality, needs, and lifestyle. Our goal is to create lifelong, successful placements for both our adopters and the cats they welcome into their homes.

We also recognize that not every cat is suited to indoor life. Through our Trap-Neuter-Return (TNR) program, we humanely trap community cats, have them spayed or neutered, and returned to the areas where they already live if they are too feral to be safely adopted. TNR helps prevent unwanted litters, improves the health and well-being of community cats, and reduces the number of cats entering the rescue system.

Our mission extends beyond finding homes for adoptable cats. We are committed to addressing the root causes of cat overpopulation while giving every cat the opportunity for a healthier, happier, safer life. Every rescue, every adoption, and every TNR effort helps create a stronger future for cats and the people who care about them.
